We 21st generation girls are beautiful, modern, independent and smart. We do carry a lot of moral values gifted by our past generations. We have our own thoughts, views, and opinions about life and what we want from it. We love the way we are today and we are proud of who we are and we know we are nothing less than a man. But I still wonder,” Do we still hope our life to be a fairy tale ?” or ” Do we wish for a prince in our life to love us?” or ” Do we say to ourselves that fairy tales do come true?”
What screws us up in life is the picture in our head of how our life is supposed to be. We feel we will have a man who is just like a prince in a fairy tales, who will truly and madly fall in love with us, he will rescue us from our pain and we will then live happily ever after. What if our man is not a prince ? What if our pain of life increases with his presence ? what if what we don’t live a happily ever after fairy tale ?
If our life is not going to the direction that we dreamed, so should we stop dreaming for a perfect life? Should we accept the way our life is going on ? My answer to this is No. I believe,” Even miracles take a little time” All you need is love, trust and a little fairy dust of hope. Yesterday is not the same as today and tomorrow will not be same as today so keep moving life with hope. You have a right to have a perfect life of your dream and you should keep looking until the time you don’t find it. Don’t stop if something went wrong, hope for the best and move on. Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives you a fairy tale. If you keep on believing the dreams that you wish will come true. Your prince will come. He may not be riding a white horse, or have a big castle but he will want you and only you and that is the real life fairy tale.
Giving up on your hopes is very easy and the fight is very hard. Life always gives you what you truly wish for and will never give you things without any true dream and hard work. When life sees you burning your feet every day, going through a lot of struggle, having sleepless nights, not stopping when your hurt just for your dreams then life gives you your reward. I like the saying,” No pain no Gain”
But the truth of our life is, ” It is hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely because almost everyone has the smallest bit of faith that one day they would open their eyes and all will come true”
Whether we believe in the fairy tale or not, every girl is someone’s princess.
