IN A WORLD FULL OF KIM K’S "BE YOURSELF"

What happened to wanting to be unique.

Turning into a nation of follow fashion zombies. It’s boring.
Where’s your uniqueness, style and own identity? Women and girls aspire to have this “Kim Kardashian” style makeup with the contouring, highlighted cheeks and eyebrows painted on. (The last time I checked eyebrows were made out of hair)

I can’t tell you how many countless make up tutorials I see and the outcome is all the SAME!!! How many girls you see even just in your local shopping centre and their makeup is all done the same because they’ve clearly been watching too many tutorials. Next…bore!

At a time where individuality and body confidence seems to be at an all time low,  it’s really important that this next generation of children know they are individuals, to love themselves, and to not aspire to look like celebrities. Especially those ones that acquired surgery to get them to look that way. If you’re parents to young sons don’t allow for them to grow thinking women are objects that are just here to look sexy, show them women are to be respected, show them we are intelligent, hardworking and that having a sexy figure with “eyebrows on fleek” is not an important factor of being successful and loved in this world.

You ask a child or young person what they want to be these days, they say actor, actress, be famous, a star. When I was younger it was things like doctor, engineer, architect, author.

Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong in aspiring to be an actress or actor, but make sure it’s for the right reason and not just to be famous and in the papers.

Young children and adolescents are doing the upmost to be social media famous or “instagram famous” as they are known, sexy posing, silly prank videos, wearing the latest design to feel like they are someone, acting like socialite's,  dressing seductively. Why?? Where are the families also of these people?

We need to raise a different kind of next generation. A strong, confident, individual, loving generation.
