If He's Not The One (Thought of the day)

It’s so easy to get caught up in guys and relationships that we start to let them dictate our happiness. It’s no lie that heartbreak is painful and exhausting, but every heartbreak is one step closer to finding the one. Every heartbreak means that there’s greater and far more better things to come. In the midst of heartbreak we just want to yell out and cry, but a recent thought has come to me: why are we upset over it? why are we upset that God has shown us that this person isn’t the one? People leave and deceive all the time and I think it’s okay to grieve the loss of one we wished to be with for forever at one point. But, there comes a time where we need to realize that we should be cheerful that this happened. We have to see the positives and not the negatives. We need to celebrate the heartbreak because why would we want to spend and waste time and emotions on someone that isn’t even going to be the one we spend the rest of our life with. We need to realize there’s someone far more deserving and worthy of our love than the one we thought was but in the end wasn’t. Heartbreaks are necessary and heartbreaks are worth it in the end when we find the one. So, each time you go through a heartbreak be joyful in knowing that he wasn’t right for you. Don’t dwell on the breakup and what ifs. Don’t let that person be in charge of your emotions because in the end… He’s not the one.

“if you can love the wrong one so much, just imagine how much you can love the right one.”
