Happiness is the most valuable currency!

As an over-thinker, perfectionist and queen of ‘to-do lists’, planning every inch of everything and making every tiny thing I put my mind to as perfect as possible is my forté and the root to a whole lot of unhappiness!

They say the key to success is organization, but i believe this organisation and forward planning could also be the downfall to personal happiness.

Every little girl plans her future.

Whether it be becoming a mother with a large family, husband, mahusive pink fluffy wedding dress and squillions of pets or becoming the next female Prime Minister ready to conquer the world.

At that age it is just a dream.

A guideline of the morals and upbringing you have experienced and want to reflect in your own life, but with age, guidelines are forced to be met and dreams can be crushed because of the pressure of personal achievement and success.

At the young age of 21 I have already changed career and life paths a handful of times and I haven’t even reached peak!

The competition, pressure and unhappiness that comes as a combination of these elements has the ability to drive any young potential off of their road to success into the land of the unknown and uninspired.

Turning 21 this year gave me a new outlook on life.
An outlook that centered around quality not quantity.

Happiness as a rating of success and not success as a rating of my happiness and emphasis on the more important things in life. Time and the limited amount of this which we all have.

Not wasting my time on striving for success for future happiness, but being happy while striving for whatever form of success I am feeling in the present.

Not meeting personal life goals that you set yourself along the way can lead to a mountain of unhappiness that counts for nothing!

Who’s judging?

Your annual wage packet isn’t an indication of your worth and success at life.
Money is its own currency and happiness is another.

Don’t stick to a path, do what feels right, makes you happy and fills each day with the intense excitement to live it all again the next!

Just do your thing and strive for complete contentment with or without the blessing of others! ‘Don’t worry.

Be happy
