Who are you?

People say life teaches you lessons. Wise people they are indeed. But, what are these lessons? Lessons to teach you good and bad? Lessons to understand pain? Lessons to be humble in your victory? Or lessons to lead life itself?

In actuality, life teaches you “YOURSELF”, it teaches you who you are and who you want to be.

Yup, sounds like hardcore philosophy. Few months back, I myself would have rolled my eyes and mentally thought of removing the person who says this from my list of “desirable to talk to” people. But, philosophy becomes hard facts when you understand it. Maybe its a continuum, philosophical turn your head stick your nose up theories and hard truths staring at your face.

Life teaches you who you are, who you want to be, what does this refer to? Career? Love? Relationship? Success? Happiness?  Nope! Its at a much deeper level. Its the bare you, without all these decorations.

Bare you – at this level, you no longer doubt yourself, you no longer wonder why you are the way you are, you no longer think of the endless future or your voluminous past, you are just you and you love it. Love again brings subjectivity – I don’t mean to say when you love yourselves you know who you are. I mean to say, when you know yourself, you love the fact you know yourself, you love philo turning into hard truths.

Take it from me – this is freedom.

You can then project the “real you” to the world, you’ll then know the lessons you have learned. How do you get there? Well, it depends. It may happen when you are a kid, when you are all grown up with messy white hair or no hair (your luck), maybe at one particular moment or in a course of events. I am not at a stage where I can jot down and pin point to you the process. I am just sharing a random tantrum.
Least that can be done for now –

Wonder and ponder,

Who are you?

Outside the physical and mental wraps,

For inner enlightenment maybe?

To seek joy? To ease pain?

No, no

It is just to be

Wonder and ponder

Who are you?
